Three small animal friends, Peach, Shadow and Mattie, decide to play hide-and-seek in the church’s sanctuary. While one hides the other two investigate. Together these friends meet various church workers and learn about Peachtree Road UMC while looking for their “hidden” friend. From the Methodist cross and flame, talking with a member of the Altar Guild, missions and music we read how these friends find more than just their friend. They learn.
SEEK AND YE SHALL FIND A Centennial Adventure is written by Kelly Brannon, a member of PRUMC. This story was created to highlight the Centennial Quilt blocks and to teach readers about our church. Creating a coloring book for the Sunday School children has been more than we imagined. Six lessons based on this book have been designed for the children to read the book, color the pictures and visit the sanctuary during each lesson.
